LakeSaver was our attempt to help save the lakes of Bangalore. Passing a contaminated lake on our way to school every day motivated us to take action. We decided to try to address the chemical pollution in lakes using neutralization reactions that produce harmless byproducts. For this, we created LakeSaver—a mobile, remotely operated device designed to dispense suitable reagents after the necessary concentrations had been carefully prepared.
